| View from Metra 191 on the rear of eastbound Metra/BNSF commuter train 1266 as we head into Downers Grove/Fairview Avenue on MT 3 - BNSF Chicago Subdivision. Due to high passenger volume for the "Taste of Chicago" festivities, extra Metra train 9402 was orderd up with engine METX 194 and is holding on MT 2 to follow us into Chicago. Our train performed all local work between Aurora and Fairview Avenue. All of the "shorts", intermediate stop passengers, will detrain from 1266 at Fairview Avenue and will board train 9402, which will do all of the local work between Fairview Ave and Chicago Union Station. Form here, train 1266 will "express" to CUS. |
