Tom Beckett	General	Leader is one of the CSX financed B 40-8's, numbered 4010-4048, even only. They went back to CSX shortly after CP acquired the D&H in 1990. The trai is coming out of the D&H East Binghamton yard, a former DLW facility on the south side of Binghamton-actually, most of the yard was in Town of Conklin. CR would not let the NYSW and D&H crews change on the Tier, so the trains would be backed into the yard for the crew change, then pull back out across the river to go west. Conrail did have a point in making NYSW get the trains off their line. Sometimes the new crew would not be on duty for hours, and CR did not want then tying up a main track, even through they ran only a handful of trains themselves.	6/13/2015 3:17:02 AM
