UP 2999, 3300, 2954         
A trio of UP units, including the United Way locomotive, lead a southbound UP ballast train across Monona Bay. The 3300 is a very welcome guest in Madison as the power on the UP rock trains from Rock Springs, WI usually does not change much over the summer. I can only hope that the stars and stripes return!

Max Koehn General oh 3300 is quite the machine indeed. it visits Altoona frequently. i have never seen a train on that track before either. and i've been to madison quite a bit! 9/2/2007 8:02:36 PM
