Richland Springs ATSF Depot in a pasture near Zephyr, Texas
The Gulf, Colorado, & Santa Fe passed through Richland Springs, Texas around 1900. The freight building was moved from Richland Springs to a farm in rural Brown County and was used as a storage building.

General
Located on the now named Smith-Biggs Ranch (Biggs Ranch). In addition to this Depot, the Biggs family purchased numerous items from the Santa Fe Railroad such as condemmed Way-Cars (cabooses), SFRD Reefers, Box Cars, and a old heavy weight baggage car. Way-cars were used as small ranch offices or bunk houses. Other equipment used for storage. Family is NOT open to selling equipment back to preservation groups for historical restoration. Thus explains why you see the condition of this old Depot.
