BLU took over this yard and the "W" line from Asheville to Sylva, NC, on July 26, 2014. On the main track to the left is SP40-2 WAMX 4201 getting ready to pull train W33 east to Asheville.

The single-story, flat-roofed building in the picture's center is the main office for BLU. Watco formed BLU to operate on lines local lines purchased from Norfolk Southern Railroad south and west of Asheville, NC.
