UP Locomotives in UP Neff Yard |

UPY 622 was UP 1622 until 4-21-10. Until then it was the UP 1622, even after a full repaint. The new UPY Number effectively brings to an end the era of holdover MP Roadnumbers on the UP. The UPY 924 was retired on 4-26-10 and will give its RCL Equipment to the UPY 622 at some point in Parsons, then will be moved to Denver, CO for the 7-14-10 Locomotive Auction. But, for now it's nice to see 2 pieces of ex-MP Equipment sitting coupled together at an ex-MP facility--just a couple dozen feet from the MP Heritage Locomotive. These came in on UP Train MNLKS 29. The SD70M was last used on UP Train MSIKC 04. |
