The CN MacMillan yard
Title:  The CN MacMillan yard
Description:  Considered to be the largest of its kind in Canada and second largest on the continent, the CN MacMillan yard handles over 1 million rail cars annually which makes it busy place and with the increase of traffic on the CN, seems to be running to its full capacity. Here you can see CN local 545 (if I’m not mistaking) with CN 4761 and GMTX 2277 enter the yard (featured in the right) after picking up some cars from the storage tracks at the south end as a switching crew with CN 4116, slug 207 and 7253 (featured in the left) pulls out from one of the storage tracks in the left after dropping off their consist. In the very middle, you can see CN 7200 with slug 230 far off in the distance as they a new consist.
