Description:  Locomotive 802 was built in 1952 by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton for New York Central as #9313. It then went to Penn Central as #8097. In 1969 it was bought by Kennecott Copper Corporation and was used as a switcher at the McGill smelter as #802.

MILW Alco S2 # 1678 - Milwaukee Road
Title:  MILW Alco S2 # 1678 - Milwaukee Road
Description:  Built by Alco in November of 1947 as MILW #1678, it was later renumbered 838. Eventually the switcher was sold to the US Government sometime between 1960-65. Specs - 10-AS class, 1000 hp, engine weight of 233,00 lb. An unknown photographer took this photo using Kodak 116 film for a print size of 2 3/8 x 4 1/4" that was scanned.
