Description:  Nucor Steel Baldwin VO1000 1502, Illinois Central Gulf GP10 8291, and Missouri Pacific GP7 1761, GP38-2 2009 (the MP’s very first GP38-2) and SD40-2 3186 were parked outside the MP diesel shop at Avondale Yard, just west of New Orleans. The Nucor unit was originally Burlington 9366, then Atlantic Coast Line 9366, Seaboard Coast Line 89, W.R. Grace 2000 and Nucor 1502.
