Huntingdon. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train East of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, during October of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2428, #2530, and another unit whose number is not recorded. #2428 is an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2530 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. A portion of US Route 22 is visible on the right. |

7th Street. Here is an original telephoto view that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during March of 1966. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2356, #2530, and another unit whose number is not recorded. #2356 is an EF-25 built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2530 is a GF-25 built by General Electrwc in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are passing under the 7th Street Bridge with a merchandise freight train on their way to Enola and points East. Visible in thd center distance, beyond the Bridge, are some of the PRR's 12th Street Shop buildings. This photo taken from the 4th Street Bridge. |

Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2630, a GF-25 built by General Electric as number "2530" in September of 1964, rated at 2,500 horsepower, and renumbered "2630" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger.
