Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Dennison, Ohio, on 19 April 1967. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #1535, #3549, and #3562. All are EF-15A's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #1535: built as "9876-A" in September of 1952, renumbered "1535" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and retired in October of 1967. #3549: built as "9798-B" in March of 1951, renumbered "3549" for the merger, and retired in December of 1967. #3562: built as "9876-B" in September of 1952 and renumbered "3562" for the merger. Description:  Here is page three of a five-page article entitled "Make That Engine Move: PRR Campaign To Improve Use Of Power." It was published originally in the July-August 1957 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 3. Bottom Right Photo Caption: "Assistant Foreman M.J. Morrow removes the blue flag to indicate locomotive is ready." Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9876, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in September of 1952, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of revenue service.

Description:  Oil Power. Here is a photo that was published originally in the Pennsylvania Railroad Company's 118th Annual Report for the Year Ending 31 December 1964, page 15. Shown here is PRR engine #9876, an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in September of 1952, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of revenue service. This photo reminds me of the lyrics from a Bobby Darin tune: "Splish splash, I was taking a bath; Long about a Saturday night!" The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.

Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9876 and four more GM-EMD products whose numbers are not recorded: one "EF" Class A-unit and three "EFS" Class road switchers. #9876 is an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in September of 1952, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of service.
