Description:  Penn Central baggage-RPO car 6599 was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in December 1947 as baggage-bar-lounge car 6696. It was rebuilt and renumbered in 1965, became PC 6599 in 1968, Amtrak 1807 in 1976, and was retired in 1977 after the country’s very last RPO service ended. (approximate date)
