ATSF 190245 - Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe
Title:  ATSF 190245 - Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe
Description:  Interesting ATSF boom car sitting in an unknown yard possibly in California after being stamped "Condemned" on the side with a strike through its number as well. Color slide taken by an unknown photographer. With help from Ashley Rodriguez (see comment below), this car now survives at Nyles Canyon Musuem as their 1830, still looks pretty close to this too. From the Nyles Canyon website is this history "Built new as Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway (ATSF) baggage #1830; Rebuilt to ATSF boom tender #190245 for Winslow, AZ derrick, January 1963; Acquired by PLA in trade with Levin Metals, November 1986; Rebuilt to Niles Canyon Railway (NCRY) open-observation #1830, Oakland, CA, 1987; In service, Brightside, CA"
