AMTK 5263
Title:  AMTK 5263
Description:  Fifty-two seat coach 5263 was manufactured by Pullman-Standard in 1950 as Chesapeake & Ohio 1668. It was one of 67 coaches built under PS Lot No. 6856 as a part of the C&O’s large 1946 order from streamlined cars. Eight of the cars were sold to the Rio Grande before they were completed, and 59 were delivered as C&O 1610-1668. Ten of the C&O coaches were sold to the Seaboard Air Line in 1958 where they became SAL 6242-6251, and they were subsequently Seaboard Coast Line and then Amtrak 5254-5263. Nine other cars went directly from the C&O to Amtrak as the 8410-8411 and 5237-5243. The 5263 wore the same number on the SCL, and was previously SAL 6251. (approximate month)

AMTK 5293
Title:  AMTK 5293
Description:  Amtrak Coach 5293 at Michigan City, Indiana on July 12, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 5293 was built by Budd in 1949 as SOU 832, was acquired by Amtrak in 1979, sold in October 1982. I know the framing is better, but I would have to pry open the cardboard slide mount and reposition the film. I chose not to do that.
