Description:
Built in 1944 by AC&F in Lot #2733 as a US Army #893xx-series hospital, 1 of 100 such cars built in that Lot, which was ordered in May 1944. In 1947, 32 cars were sold to Alaska, 3 of which were reconfigured in 1949 to 32 seat buffet diner 22 seat club lounges #8-#10. #10 was later sold to the McKinley Park Station Hotel, then acquired by Mount Hood as #RS01, later renumbered #904.
