Description:  56 seat chair #2952, built in 1947 by Budd in Lot #9613-004. Retired in 1966 and sold to the Livonia, Avon & Lakeville, later resold to the Gettysburg RR, now VIA 62 seat chair #8147. Name WILLIAM H. SEWARD was originally applied to 56 seat chair #2576, which was built in 1941 by Budd in #96204 and was converted in 1966 to 108 seat commuter coach #1708. WILLIAM H. SEWARD applied to #2952 by the LA&L. Seen here in Armour Yard. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Kodachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate.
