Title:  The GN Hutchinson MN 50 caboose baggage in 1974 in Mpls MN.
Description:  This is the famous Hutch caboose that ran on the Mpls MN Wayzata to Hutchinson MN branchline on the GN. The BN painted it green and yellow years after this photo. Overland makes this in HO brass and PSC makes this in o scale brass. The Dakota rail regional operated the Hutch branchline until the year 2000.

Description:  Burlington Northern Railroad caboose 11278 at Naperville, Illinois on July 28, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 11278 was built sometime between August 1941 and October 1951 by GN's St. Cloud shops as GN X250. The kink in Track 3 (left) will soon be rectified, eliminating the last evidence of the passenger platform that once occupied the space. Burlington's Zephyrs had to negotiate that kink.
