Jamaican Locomotive Being Shipped Through USA |

As far as I know, this is the only photo on the web of this locomotive when it was in the USA. NREX 1017 was a locomotive painted in Jamaican national colors for JAMALCO. The locomotive was being shipped on the UP for boat shipment to Jamaica. I had just started taking train pics again after a 20 year hiatus, and I regret that I didn't know enough when I took this pic to (1) get a better shot and (2) chase the train down the "Rabbit Line" to get more shots. |
