Title:  NKP 0-8-0 #210 - Nickel Plate Road
Description:  Built by Lima in May of 1924 (serial #6863, class U-3b), this hefty 0-8-0 yard switcher served the Nickel Plate Road for nearly 28 years. The loco was eventually sold for scrap to the Luntz Iron & Steel Company on 12/12/1952. The photo is from the Howard W. Ameling collection.

Description:  Here is another Lima built switcher delivered in June of 1925 (bldr #6944). It was in the class U-3c and according to the info on the back of the photo, it had 51" drivers, developed a boiler pressure of 175 psi for its 25"x28" cylinders, and generated a respectable tractive force of 50,000 lb. It evertually was sold for scrap to Luntz Iron & Steel Co on 9/18/1952. Prescott photo
