Description:  Just about a mile into the trip, the two units roll past us near Mapleton, Illinois. Initially, we had made the trip expecting the ABA set of F-units, though the B unit has recently come down with some electrical issues, forcing it substitution with the (almost) equally cool GP20.

After it was retired it has bounced around short lines and scenic routes from the Algoma Central, to the Peoria Western Railway (PWRY), the Pioneer Rail Equipment (PREX) and the Keokuk Junction Railway (KJRY). The unit seen here hitching a ride on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. to its new destination at the Ohio River Scenic Railroad after being sold in late March of this year.
