Description:  A special Bluewater Michigan Chapter excursion train is prepared to head west at Pigeon, Michigan and will now return to Reese. It is seen on Rail America’s Huron and Eastern Railway. Passengers rode this train for the Pigeon Farmers’ Festival, July 24, 1999. These freshly painted GP38-2 locomotives, #204 and #203, power the train. Heres engine #204 in the "Old" RailAmerica scheme from the previos year: A special Bluewater Michigan Chapter excursion train is prepared to head west at Pigeon, Michigan and will now return to Reese. It is seen on Rail America’s Huron and Eastern Railway. Passengers rode this train for the Pigeon Farmers’ Festival, July 24, 1999. Description:  Nice original color photo of Huron & Eastern #204 in its original paint scheme and named the "Spirit of America". Originally delivered to the Rock Island as #4352 by EMD in November of 1976, it then bounced to the PLE as their #2057 before ending up with the Huron & Eastern RR. Later it would be repainted into a red/whit/blue stripe and renumbered 3868
