Description:  Built by the Grant Locomotive Works in 1879 originally for the New York, Lake Erie & Western RR as their #545, it was transferred to the Erie as their #1044 in 1895. The Erie shops rebuilt it as camelback #1018, a class H-4 in 1897. C.W. Jernstrom photo
