CN 4-6-2 #5041 - Canadian National |
Description: |
Originally built by Baldwin in November of 1912 as GTW #111 (serial #38644, class J-3-a), it moved onto the CN roster as #5041 in January of 1941. The loco was scrapped in November of 1957. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. Bruce Gemmel found info on this pic. It was taken by Jim Shaughnessy at Burlington, Ontario, August 2, 1957. With just 3 months left before scrapping, Ian Wilson believes this may have been her last trip. Many thanks, Bruce! |
