On this misty morning, they're rounding the Curve on their way up the Allegheny Mountains to the Cresson Branch where they'll pick-up a fully-loaded mineral train and move it down "The Mountain" to the Altoona Receiving Yards. Notable here is the cabin car: it's the PRR's one-of-a-kind N-5E #477594 built in the ACS in October, 1929. Many thanks to Mr. Anthony Zinskie for identifying this car correctly.

At center-right are PRR engine #2213 and three more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #2213 is an EF-22 built in March of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. Both trains have changed engine and train crews, and await movement orders to proceed up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West.
