Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5839 was constructed in February of 1951. This photo comes from a slide set entitled "Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Railroad" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (22-73). |
