This Alco-Schenectady 2-8-0 Consolidation was built in 1912 as SLSF #1311 (serial #51810). An interesting but confusing note on the back states "New York pumps." The loco lasted for nearly 40 years before being sold for scrap in February of 1952. Specs - 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 49,300 lb. Unknown photographer |
