Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #9801 and two more "EF" Class units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9801 is an EF-15A built in March of 1951. They are pulling a mixed-cargo freight train, and are about to round the Curve on their way up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. |
