They are pulling a 38-car westbound freight train out of the Hollidaysburg Yards. The train will pass WYE Tower, climb the Allegheny Mountains by way of the New Portage Branch and the Muleshoe Curve, and then merge with the mainline at Gallitzin. Most of the cars in this train are new 70-ton hopper cars, just produced at the PRR's Samuel Rea Shop. The cabin car is #477806. In years past, two-story HOLLY Tower was located in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the bridge over the Juniata River. Also located here was an elevated tower to operate the Bedford Street Crossing gates.
