Description:  12th Street. Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad trains that I took in Altoona, Pennsylvania, during the Fall of 1959. Shown here is PRR engine #9767, an EF-15A built by EMD in 1951 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. It is about to pass under the 12th Street Bridge with a westbound mixed-cargo freight train.

Description:  Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Canton, Ohio, in April of 1960. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9767, along with three other locomotives whose numbers are not recorded: a Bangor & Aroostook GP-9, a PRR "EF" Class B-unit, as well as a PRR "C-Liner." Engine #9767 is an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in January of 1951, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1967 after just 16 years' service.
