Here we see the train accelerating on the NS New Orleans Terminal as it approaches the Marconi Drive overpass and City Park. P40-8 822, P32-8 509, 1254, 39906, 31043, 34084, 399?4, 34057, 34061, 33008, 38043, 32056, 32047, 32033, and PV "Osage River" (800610). The consist was a bit longer than normal to handle increased ridership for Mardi Gras. While on the NS this train operated as NS symbol O-22. Southbound train No. 59 also detoured via this route on this day as NS symbol O-23. |
