CN 4-6-0 #1383 - Canadian National
Title:  CN 4-6-0 #1383 - Canadian National
Description:  Looks like a three generation effort in hand turning CN #1383 on this manual roundtable at an unidentified location. With Bruce Gemmel's help (see comment below) this is Penetang, Ontario, near Penetanguishene in Simcoe County, Ontario. RRPA doesn't recognize the location. Note two more are pushing to the far right of the pic. Took a lot of muscle to get this 1912 Montreal Locomotive Works built ten wheeler turned! The loco was eventually scrapped in October of 1961. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo but Bruce Gemmel (comment below) identifies the photographer as Don Wood. Thanks, Bruce, for all your help!!!
