Nice photo of the ATSF 2-10-2 steam locomotive at rest in the Knoxville, TX, yard. Built by Burnham, Wms & Co in February of 1904, the loco was simplified and superheated at Topeka in 1919 with 28X32 cylinders. Serial #23691. The loco finally met the scrapper's torch when it was sold for scrap to Commerical Metals Co. in 1/20/1956. No date was given for the photo so an approximate one was used. From the Harold K.
