NOPSI 868 and 1746
Title:  NOPSI 868 and 1746
Description:  Two New Orleans Public Service vehicles were stopped on Willow Street at South Carrollton Avenue. LEONIDAS bus 1746 was a White Motor Co. MODEL 788 built in 1948 and was making a regular stop, while TULANE car 868 was on its way from the Carrollton Car Barn to South Carrollton Avenue. It had been built by the J.G. Brill Co. in 1922 and was scrapped in May 1952. Up until 6 December 1923 Willow Street had been named Poplar, which is why the theater on the left has that name. (unknown date of photo)
