Title:  IC/CN Solo Leader
Description:  Illinois Central 1039 now sports Canadian National paint and the noodle but retains its original number boards. Currently leading this south bound train on the Union Pacific high speed main in Granite City, Illinois. I have no idea what this train hauls, all the bulk head flats were wired together and all had an odd cribbing set up with a small control box. All the bulk heads were marked Union Pacific as well and there were several chopped bulk head flats and 89ft. flats at the end of the train.

Description:  A trio of CN locomotives rest on a remnant of the former GB&W main line at Amherst Junction, WI on 7 Mar. '15. The bridge crosses Hwy. KK, which used to be U.S. 10. I am curious to learn why that many axles were halted there, on a truncated remnant of a former main line. I doubt they would devote that much horsepower to service Frontier-Servco FS, out of frame to the left.

Description:  Trailing behind the previous days manifest power was a nice surprise featuring a pair of standard cab EMD SD70s, with one of them featuring its original Illinois Central "Death Star" paint scheme. This was a first for me to catch one of these Death Stars, let alone on home rails.
