Displaying these locomotives in Nelson is very historically appropriate as the Canadian Pacific routes around Nelson were some of that last to operate F-M CLC power in North America, and the Nelson shop was one of the last to specialise in the maintenance of these units and their intricate and complex opposed-piston dual-crankshaft engines.
