This was a fan trip behind CNJ 4-6-0 #770 camelback at ended up at the former pier on the CNJ Highlands Branch with CNJ baggage car filled with boys hanging out the open doors. An interesting note on the back of the photo by photographer Anthony H. Perles - "Former pier track at Atlantic Highlands, NJ, on the CNJ Highlands branch. Trains formerly connected here with boats from New York." |
