Title:  Berwind-White, ex-PRR 9328, 1964
Description:  BWCX. Here is an original photo that I took at the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 27 October 1964. Shown here is their newly-painted GS-4 Diesel engine that was purchased from the Pennsylvania Railroad. Originally numbered "9328," it was built by GE in 1948 and rated at 380 horsepower. In this photo, Bob Wingard (the locomotive engineer) is servicing their newly-acquired prime mover. The aluminum building on the left is the Paint Shop; the wooden structure in the middle is the original wooden Car Shop.

As for the F-39C, about 500 of them were built at the PRR's 12th Street Car Shops in Altoona during 1957-1958.
