||Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Byerly that was taken in Camden, New Jersery, perhaps in 1965. Photo Caption: "Baldwin DRS4-4-1000 #9277, 1000-hp, at Camden, N.J." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9277, a BS-10AS boiler-equipped road switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February of 1949, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and retired in May of 1966 after just 17 years of revenue service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-17).
