Description:  Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Meadows Yard near Kearny, New Jersey, c. 1952. Prominent here are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #410 and #5417. #410 is an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during April of 1915 and retired in August of 1955. #5417 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in February of 1927 and retired in August of 1955. Visible in the center are the sanding towers and the coaling wharf. ("Ken6264"; #1 of 4)

At the left is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5417, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1927 and retired in August of 1955 after 28 years of faithful service. The third engine from the left is PRR #5417, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1927 and retired in August of 1955 after 28 years of service.
