Description:  #4616 & #4243. Here is a photo of a Pennsylvania Railroad train taken by Philip R. Hastings on 14 September 1956. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #3445 and #4268. Both are I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapods." #3445 was built in Juniata as an I-1S during 1919, rebuilt as an I-1SA in January of 1947, and retired in November of 1958. #4268 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in August of 1934, and retired in October of 1959. They are pushing a 9,000-ton iron-ore train as they approach the 1.3% upgrade near Shamokin, Pennsylvania. Also note that the helpers are ahead of the cabin car, PRR Class N-5 #477006!
