UP 4013
Title:  UP 4013
Description:  Big Boy 4013 negotiates yard trackage in Cheyenne in late August, 1958. The gargantuan Big Boy was the pinnacle of UP steam, with a power matched by few. The 4000s would become famous with railfans for their massive size and tremendous pulling power for this reason. However, no amount of fame would save 4013 from the impending end of steam. In 1959, the engine would pull its last train, and was withdrawn from service. For nearly four years the engine would sit stored in Cheyenne, before finally being cut up in April, 1963.
