Cumberland City Turn
Title:  Cumberland City Turn
Description:  This is my take on a modern version of a J. Parker Lamb photo from 1959 (https://live.staticflickr.com/8200/29912942606_c37790350f_k.jpg). The L & N no longer owns the Memphis line and the majority of the tracks in the Lamb photo are long gone. Operations on the old Tennessee Central were taken over by the Illinois Central following the TC's 1968 bankrupcy. The IC abandoned the line between Edgoten (Ft. Campbell) and Chapmansboro in 1981, though several of the old TC bridges in Clarksville survive as pedestrian bridges.
