PRR 9862, EFP-15, 1963
Title:  PRR 9862, EFP-15, 1963
Description:  Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 21 July 1963. Shown here are PRR engines #9862, #7231, and #7262. All were built by EMD. #9862 is an EFP-15 built in 1952 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. #7231 and #7262 are EFS-17M's built in 1959 and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. They are passing over the grade crossing in Tipton on their way to the Enola Yards with a mixed-cargo freight train.
