Number 2199 was built by the Brooks Locomotive Works in July 1907 (c/n 43539) and retired in April 1947. The selected date (December 1944) and location (Chicago, Illinois) based on the December 1, 1944 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. It looks like Downers Grove, but I'm not sure. The man in the cab appears to be reading paperwork. |
