Description:  Shining in the low early morning sun. I have never seen an operating steam locomotive that clean!!!! Only the smoke box shows exposure to remains of wet stacking and pH stabilizer of the water for the boiler. During the trip, I overheard conversation about verifying the pH of the water of the boiler.
