| Description: |
Class 7E3, Series 2 locomotives entered service in 1984 and 1985. Designed by Hitachi, they were locally manufactured by Dorbyl. Between 2000 and 2007, while these locomotives were being upgraded, some were reclassified to either Class 7E5 or Class 7E6, but they reverted to their original Class 7E3 designation at the conclusion of the upgrading project.
