Built in December 1943 (c/n 71298) on Order S1915 for four Alco S2's diverted from the Bingham & Garfield by the War Production Board, these became CB&Q #'s 9302-9305. This particular locomotive was retired in September, 1969, traded to GE for new power, but shipped to Precision National Corporation for scrapping and stockpiling of reusable parts. |
