Originally built by the Delaware ,Lackawanna & Western RR in 1891. Station design is Queen Anne, This sattion ahd the added distinction of being a termnal, train order station, and crew layover point. NJ Transit Galdstone Branch,originally chartered as the Passaic Valley and Peapack RR in 1865. The name changed to NJ West Line in 1870. On October 19,1878 acquired by the DL&W (Delaware, Lackawanna & Western renamed Passaic & Delaware RR adn extended from Bernardsville to Gladstone on April 17 1890. Station and Freight House are listed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places. in 1984 |
