Lehigh Valley Coal Co. #117 is a 48 inch gauge, 30 ton 0-4-0T built by the Vulcan Iron Works in 1925 for the Jeddo-Highland Coal Company. It was purchased in the early 1950s by Carrol C. Stahl for the Carrol Park & Western Railroad in Bloomberg, PA. The engine was aquired by NJMT in October of 2000 after being on display off of Rt 9 in Bayville, NJ for almost 20 years. |
