Description:  More bolts are either missing, stripped out or broken as seen in this picture. This is on the CSX A line in Selma as the NC Railroad crosses here too. There is a large collection of broken bolts laying out of the picture...seems as the bolt business is good here.

Description:  A shadowy pressence on a bright sunny day duwe to being backlit. The rails shine through. Backlit photos at times can produce some interesting results - especially with old industrial structures. Obviously, a lot of people try to avoid severely backlit shots like this, but they can convey a mood. And they are my photos so the fact that I like it is what counts.
